CRC Trefolex CDT Cutting Oil is a cutting, drilling and thread-cutting lubricant formulated for use across all types of metal. Extreme-pressure additives create a strong lubricating film that helps increase tool life and improve cutting performance under demanding machining conditions. A viscosity modifier increases cling, allowing the lubricant to remain on the work area when applied at different angles. The low-odour formula is safe for soft metals, including brass, copper and aluminium.
Recommended for critical machining of non-ferrous metals, Trefolex CDT is suitable for Machinability Group 1 operations, except deep drilling where a low-viscosity oil is required, and less-critical Group 2 operations. The controlled aerosol application can be directed into difficult-to-reach areas using the extension tube. After application, the lubricant forms a non-drying film and leaves an anti-corrosive residue on the treated surface. It is available as a 300 g aerosol and in bulk formats.
