CCG - E1EX-U CABLE GLAND
The CCG E1EX‑U (Universal) Cable Gland is designed for hazardous area electrical installations requiring secure and compliant cable entry into equipment enclosures. It is used to provide controlled cable termination while maintaining enclosure safety and integrity in increased safety and flameproof industrial environments.
The gland is of compression design and is suitable for multi‑armoured cable as well as braided cable constructions. It provides effective mechanical retention through its compression system and is secured to the enclosure using a locknut fixing arrangement. The sealing design supports reliable enclosure protection when correctly installed and accommodates armoured and braided cable layers without compromising cable integrity. The construction allows straightforward installation into standard threaded enclosure entries commonly used in Ex applications.
