CCG - EX CORROSION GUARD
The CCG Ex Corrosion Guard is designed to provide enhanced protection to cable gland terminations in hazardous and industrial environments where corrosion resistance is critical. It is used to protect the cable gland assembly and cable entry point, helping to extend service life and maintain safe, reliable operation in harsh conditions.
The corrosion guard is designed for use with SWA cable installations and is supplied complete with a locknut and an IP66/68 screw‑on shroud to provide additional environmental sealing. The screw‑on shroud protects the cable gland and exposed cable sheath from moisture, dust, and corrosive elements, while the locknut ensures secure fixing to the enclosure. When correctly installed, the assembly supports robust mechanical retention and maintains enclosure integrity in demanding Ex and industrial applications.
