Their one-piece flanged construction combines a flat washer face with an integrated shoulder, allowing the washer to extend into a mounting hole. This helps separate the fastener from the surrounding panel or component while distributing the clamping load across a broader surface.
Manufactured from natural polyamide nylon, these shoulder washers offer good electrical-insulation properties while helping absorb shock and vibration. Nylon also provides useful toughness, wear resistance, a low coefficient of friction and resistance to greases, oils and aromatic hydrocarbons. Available for M6, M8, M10 and M12 applications, all four models feature an 8mm overall thickness.
