This Medium-Wall Heat Shrink Tubing provides electrical insulation, mechanical protection and environmental sealing for low-voltage cable joints and terminations. Its shrink ratio of up to 4:1 allows each size to accommodate a broad range of cable diameters and irregular profiles, while the medium-wall construction provides additional support in demanding applications.
Manufactured from UV-resistant, halogen-free cross-linked polyolefin, the tubing incorporates a thermoplastic adhesive liner that activates during installation. The adhesive bonds to the cable surface to create a watertight seal against moisture, humidity, contaminants and environmental exposure, making the tubing suitable for outdoor, underground, industrial and mining applications.
