Hobson M10 Hex Set Screws are fully threaded Class 4.6 carbon-steel fasteners designed for general construction, fabrication and assembly work. Manufactured to AS 1111.2, each screw features an M10 x 1.50 coarse metric thread and a hexagonal head for installation using a standard 16mm spanner or socket. Available in 25mm, 30mm, 40mm and 50mm lengths, the range accommodates different material thicknesses and fastening requirements.
A hot-dip galvanised finish to AS/NZS 1214 provides high corrosion resistance and makes these fasteners suitable for long-term outdoor applications. The coating has a typical listed thickness of 50µm, helping protect the underlying carbon steel in exposed environments. These fully threaded set screws provide maximum thread engagement along their nominal length; however, they should not be substituted for higher-strength structural fasteners or partially threaded bolts where these are specified by the application design.
