GSA All Purpose Silicone is a one-part, neutral-cure silicone sealant designed for general weatherproofing and waterproofing applications. It cures at room temperature by reacting with moisture in the air, forming a durable and flexible silicone-rubber seal. The non-corrosive neutral-cure formulation is suitable for many porous, non-porous and alkaline substrates, including steel, glass, anodised aluminium, concrete, masonry, tiles, ceramics, stone and selected plastics.
Offering excellent adhesion and resistance to UV exposure and weather extremes, the sealant is suitable for indoor and outdoor construction joints. It can be applied using a standard caulking gun and generally bonds to common building materials without a primer, although adhesion testing is recommended. Once cured, it remains flexible across a service-temperature range of -40°C to 150°C and provides movement capability of ±20%, helping accommodate normal expansion and contraction within correctly designed joints.
